OPTION 1: WEEKLY CLASSES

GENTLE

Connect to body, stretch, gently strengthen, relieve tension. Seated, standing and lying postures.

GENTLE CORE STRENGTHENING

Combines seated, standing and floor postures. Build body awareness as you strengthen your core, stretch, relax.

MINDFUL FLOW I

Body-breath awareness, includes flow & static poses, energize, release stress, discover personal strength and rhythm. Moderate exertion.

All-Levels

Build strength, balance and flexibility at a moderately paced flow with modifications given for all levels of yogis. Includes breath-work and relaxation techniques.


Option 2: WORKSHOPS & Series classes

6-WEEK SERIES CLASS OFFERINGS:

YOGA FOR JOINT RELEASE:  This 6-week practice will improve joint mobility & flexibility, relieve stiffness, alleviate inflammation, and leave you feeling refreshed, relaxed, and balanced. This is a research-backed practice, proven to prevent and ease arthritic/rheumatic symptoms.

LOVE YOUR BRAIN YOGA:  We enable people who have experienced a TBI (traumatic brain injury) and those who support them to participate in free 6-week community-based gentle yoga and meditation classes tailored to their needs. This is a nationally recognized, research-backed program.

LOVING-KINDNESS PRACTICE:  With guided meditations and insight into the origin of practice, this 6-week series will allow you to find an inner refuge and sanctuary within which to develop the heart's strength, confidence, wisdom, resilience and compassion. 

WORKSHOP OFFERINGS: 

THE FOOT & POSTURE WORKSHOP: Your feet are an often-abused yet overlooked part of your body. In this 3-hour workshop, we will learn ways to release and strengthen the feet, then look at how your posture, alignment, and walking pattern may be causing you pain.

RESTORATIVE YOGA & SOUND HEALING:  Release, heal, and harmonize with the combined practices of restorative yoga and a sound healing bath... Join restorative yoga teacher, Carol Grimes, as she partners with a variety of Sound Healing artists for this 2-hour workshop. 

CHANT, HEAL, RESTORE:  Celebrate self-care, be fully present with yourself, and deepen the connection to body and soul. This2-hour workshop begins with 20-minutes of kirtan/chanting and moves into a gentle/restorative yoga practice, using lots of props to facilitate deep relaxation and nourishment. 


Option 3: Semi-private intensives

3-Week Semi-Private Intensives

FREE YOUR SHOULDERS:  Release and relax shoulder tension, improve strength and stability, and help your shoulders to move with more freedom and ease.

HAPPY HEALTHY HAMSTRINGS:  Learn ways to lengthen and strengthen your hamstrings to improve long-term healthy movement patterns.

SPINAL HEALTH & STRENGTH:  Bring more mobility and strength to your upper, mid, lower back and pelvis. Support your spine so that your spine can support you! .

2-3-Hour Semi-Private Intensives

YOGA & AROMATHERAPY:  Encourage the release of stress and tension and feel rested and restored in this workshop promoting deep nourishment with the combined practices of yoga and aromatherapy. Learn about essential oils and yoga practices designed to clear, nourish, and fortify your system.

YOGA & NUTRITION: Go deeper in your health and wellness journey by exploring in-depth topics such as Digestive Health, Anti-Inflammation, Heart Health, and more. We will learn about these topics through nutrition, ayurveda, yoga/healthy movement, and creative ritual.


OPTION 4: PRIVATE LESSONS & PRIVATE GROUPS

PRIVATE LESSONS:

Private lessons can make a significant difference in helping to understand your unique history, and bring healing to where you personally need it most. Request a practice according to your needs: develop a home routine, strengthen healthy movement patterns, improve postural alignment, work on therapeutic pain relief, improve joint health & mobility, begin a meditation practice, etc.

PRIVATE GROUPS:

Arrange yoga for your private or professional group. This can be for office staff, a group of friends, retreats, conferences, special occasions, wedding festivities, girlfriend gatherings, etc. Help your group to increase connectivity and feel more at peace in body, mind and heart.


OPTION 5: daylong & weekend Retreats

A DAY OF KINDNESS RETREAT

In this daylong retreat, we will be weaving together meditation, gentle yoga, and yoga nidra with compassion talks and other kindness practices. It’s an opportunity to unplug, connect within, and foster life resiliency. All levels and bodies welcome.

HALF-DAY Loving-Kindness Retreat

An opportunity to meditate and practice traditional metta/loving-kindness meditation with a group in a protected, supportive, and quiet setting for an extended period of time. We will practice sitting, walking, standing, and lying down meditation.

SUMMER COASTAL RETREAT

A weekend of yoga + meditation on the gorgeous Oregon Coast at a beautiful retreat center situated directly on the banks of the Nehalem River, complete with tea gardens, organic meals, sauna, and just a few minutes drive from Manzanita beaches and hikes.
